Job summary

PPS-HPS in Mentor, Ohio is seeking a Commercial Interior Carpenter who specializes in installing metal studs, drywall, acoustical ceilings, hollow metal door frames and wood doors. This role is focused on local, non-residential work with no travel.

Work hours are Mon-Fri, 7am to 3:30pm, and compensation ranges from $25 to $45 per hour depending on experience and project type. We are not looking for a foreman; you’ll be expected to “bang the work out” in a space and deliver quality results on

Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience as a commercial carpenter.
Very proficient with metal stud framing.
Must pass drug test.

Responsibilities

Duties include installation of metal studs, drywall, acoustical ceilings, hollow metal door frames and wood doors.
Interpret project plans and specifications to complete interior carpentry tasks.
Maintain quality workmanship and safety practices on site.
