Job summary

Michigan Neurology Associates, PC is seeking a Part-Time Carotid Doppler Technician in Clinton Township, MI. You will perform carotid ultrasound studies, support physicians in vascular assessments, and ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging while adhering to safety and patient care standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited vascular ultrasound program preferred.
• 1–2 years of vascular or carotid ultrasound experience preferred.
• RV T certification preferred; RVS acceptable; CPR/BCLS current.

Responsibilities

• Perform carotid Doppler ultrasound studies with accuracy and adherence to protocols.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process clearly.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and document findings in the EMR.
• Assist physicians with interpretation and follow-up imaging needs.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and OSHA standards.
• Support efficient patient flow in collaboration with clinical staff.
• Complete all required documentation and orders for scheduled visits.
