Job summary

Young Mens Christian Association Of The Chesapeake Inc is seeking a Member Services-oriented role to deliver outstanding service to members, guests, and program participants. The position involves responding to inquiries, promoting memberships and programs, and maintaining a welcoming lobby environment to support member retention.

Responsibilities include conducting tours for prospective members, signing up members for programs, building community connections, and resolving membership concerns

Qualifications

• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
• Previous customer service, sales or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
