Job summary

The YMCA of the Sandhills is seeking a friendly Member Services Representative to deliver welcoming service to members, guests and program participants. You will respond to needs with professionalism, promote memberships and programs, and maintain a clean, organized lobby.

Responsibilities include providing guided tours, updating member accounts, registering participants, resolving concerns, and collaborating with staff to ensure a sense of belonging for all visitors.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• Prior customer service, sales or administrative experience preferred.
• Proficient with computers and point-of-sale systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• First Aid, CPR PRO and AED within 90 days of hire.

Member Services RepresentativePOSITION SUMMARY:Deliver excellent, welcoming service to all members, guests, and program participants, respond to member and guest needs with professionalism, promote memberships and program, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby area. Perform other duties as assigned.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Provide excellent customer service to members, guests, and program participants in the branch and on the phone, contributing to member retention and a sense of belonging.Uphold a professional attitude and appearance while at the facility.Provide guided tours, sell memberships, update member accounts, and register for programs, all with a high level of detail and accuracy,Build relationships with members; help members connect with one another and to the YMCA.Handle and resolve membership concerns and inform supervisor of unusual situations or unresolved issues. Inquire further into conversations for details related to a situation.Monitor the facility and light cleaning as needed; to include but not limited to, empty trash cans, refill wipes, clean Welcome Center area, etc.Check member visits to Daxko to ensure memberships are still valid.Attend all staff meetings and certifications/ training as directed,Audit membership files during shift.Maintain a clean working environment, free of clutter.Other job duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum age of 18Previous customer service, sales or administrative experience preferred.Knowledge of computers and point-of-sale systems.Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
