• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely; experience with Hoyer lifts is a plus.
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
• Valid driver’s license for standard passenger car operation preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including shifts that may involve long periods of standing or walking.
• Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful and dignified care for all residents and clients.
• Must be capable of working independently as well as part of a team in diverse care environments.

Aufgaben

• Assist residents and clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration following proper protocols
• Support residents with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's through engagement and behavioral management techniques
• Monitor vital signs and report any health concerns to medical professionals or supervisors
• Operate manual handling equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely to assist with resident transfers
• Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary needs and preferences
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and sanitation
• Support residents with mobility using standard passenger cars or transportation services when necessary
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure personalized care plans are followed
• Follow safety protocols including first aid procedures and safe patient lifting practices in emergency situations
