Job summary

Cedarbrook Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper/Laundry Aide to support residents with daily cleaning and laundry tasks in Plymouth, Michigan. The role requires responsibilities across apartment homes, common areas, and facilities, including linen collection and laundering, window and floor care, and routine supplies management.

The position handles trash, sanitizes restrooms, and assists with equipment maintenance, reporting repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties according to schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) in assigned areas such as apartment homes, common areas, lounges and offices.
• Collects soiled linens. Launder linens. Fold, sort, and distribute clean laundry.
• Keep laundry and linen storage rooms clean and organized.
• Sweep, dust, dust mops, and wet mops all floors and stairways; spot cleans and vacuums floors, rugs, carpets and runners.
• Maintains equipment and materials needed to perform work in a clean and orderly condition.
• Reports any needed repairs to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
