Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping and laundry tasks in a licensed care setting preferred.
• Maintains acceptable attendance and follows the work schedule.
• Organizes time effectively and requires minimal supervision.
• Washes, dries, folds linens and assists in resident rooms as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assures completion of housekeeping and laundry tasks in a safe, clean environment.
• Implements cleaning schedules for residents’ apartments, laundry, kitchen, and common areas.
• Monitors inventory of chemicals, supplies and equipment; reports needs to supervisor.
• Performs routine tasks such as defrosting refrigerators and laundering bed linens as required.
