Job summary

Barclay House of Rock Hill is seeking a Personal Assistant to support residents in our assisted living and memory care setting. You will provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, monitor changes in health, and help with dining, dressing and light housekeeping under supervision.

This role rewards compassionate, patient team members who can adapt to weekends and holidays. CNA certification is preferred but not required unless state rule; CPR/First Aid is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• CNA certification preferred but not required unless state requirement.
• CPR/First Aid, preferred.
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports residents by providing companionship and activities of daily living.
• Reports changes in health and status and records progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed.
• Keeps residents engaged and happy.
