• Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry or obtains within 4 months of hire/ transfer date.
• If transitioning from the Nursing Assistant – Student position, must have registration upon hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to skilled nursing facility residents ensuring safety and comfort.
• Assist with personal hygiene and nutritional needs.
• Recognize changes in resident condition and report to shift nurse promptly.
• Maintain a safe, clean, attractive, and neat environment for residents.
• Identify and prevent abuse of vulnerable adults in care.
• Identify safety hazards and emergency situations and initiate corrective actions.
