Qualifications

• Attend and pass a Nurse Aide class.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct hands-on resident care with ADLs.
• Perform clerical, receptionist, and communication duties under nursing staff.
• Utilize individual care plans for resident care.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, and prosthetic appliances.
• Observe changes in resident condition and report to licensed staff.
• Set up and operate auxiliary equipment under supervision.
• Lift, move, and transport residents using proper body mechanics.
• Maintain skin integrity to prevent ulcers and skin damage.
• Document care activities accurately.
• Communicate with health team and residents to meet outcomes.
