Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals for students, residents, and staff while ensuring quality and nutrition.
  • Assist in planning and executing meals per menus, dietary needs, and guidelines.
  • Prepare special diet meals and support dietary accommodations as needed.
  • Prepare salads, desserts, snacks, and other meal components for daily service.
  • Maintain inventory of food and supplies to support operations.
  • Ensure compliance with New York State Department of Health food safety standards.
  • Assist with coordinating kitchen operations and guide staff as needed.
  • Complete production records and safety documentation for quality assurance.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment.
  • Support equipment maintenance and readiness for daily use.
  • Contribute to a positive dining experience that supports well-being.
