Job summary

Anderson Center for Autism is seeking a Food Service Worker to support daily meal service operations across our campus and residential programs. You will help with meal deliveries, transport groceries, and maintain kitchen cleanliness to ensure safe, on-time service.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. Prior food service experience and knowledge of food safety are preferred. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Previous experience in food service, dietary services, custodial services, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, transport, and move food service supplies and equipment.
• Ability to follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support daily food service operations by preparing meal deliveries and ensuring food reaches residential locations safely, accurately, and on schedule.
• Transport meals, groceries, and food service supplies to residences and other locations across the campus.
• Monitor food temperatures and assist with loading procedures to ensure sanitation standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment through routine cleaning and sanitation tasks.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishware, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment used during service.
• Prepare dining areas by setting tables and ensuring service supplies are ready for use.
