United Church Homes in Jackson, OH is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to perform a broad range of cleaning duties across resident rooms, offices, lounges, kitchens, and common areas. You will follow the established cleaning schedule and assist with isolation-unit procedures when required.

You must read, write and speak English, have a high school diploma or GED preferred, and be able to operate basic housekeeping equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of related housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English.
• Must be able to operate basic housekeeping equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Performs general housekeeping duties in offices, resident rooms, restrooms, lounges, kitchens and corridors.
• Cleans, dusts, disinfects fixtures, floors, walls, doors and ceilings as required.
• Vacuuming and shampooing carpeting and rugs; maintains cleanliness of common areas and residents’ rooms.
• Assists with quarterly inventory and adheres to safety procedures for residents and staff.
