Heritage Senior Living in Eau Claire, WI is looking for a dependable Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff. You will clean resident apartments and common areas, handle resident laundry, and follow sanitation and infection-control procedures while interacting with residents in a compassionate, respectful manner.

No formal housekeeping experience is required; we value reliability, attention to detail, and a teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, environmental services, hotel, healthcare, senior living, or related experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to work discreetly and respectfully in resident and guest areas.
• Caring and compassionate attitude with genuine concern for older adults.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong customer-service orientation.
• Ability to follow cleaning, sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively with employees throughout the community.
• Ability to learn and use required electronic documentation systems.
• Ability to meet applicable pre-employment, training, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident apartments, common areas and amenities.
• Sweep, mop, wash, and vacuum floors.
• Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, windows, and surfaces.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste.
• Clean resident equipment including wheelchairs.
• Complete routine and scheduled deep cleaning.
• Deep clean carpets and furniture.
• Keep housekeeping cart organized and stocked.
• Support resident laundry and ensure timely return.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
• Report hazards to supervisor.
• Collaborate with care teams to create a homelike environment.
