Heritage Senior Living in West Allis, WI is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff.

This role goes beyond cleaning; you will become a trusted part of residents' daily lives, helping create a homelike community and supporting infection-control, laundry, and daily care routines.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, environmental services, hotel, healthcare, senior living, or related experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to work discreetly and respectfully in resident and guest areas.
• Caring and compassionate attitude with genuine concern for older adults.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong customer-service orientation.
• Ability to follow cleaning, sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures.
• Ability to learn and use required electronic documentation systems.
• Ability to meet applicable pre-employment, training, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident living areas, bathrooms, dining areas, offices, and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, wash, and vacuum floors as needed.
• Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, windows, and other surfaces.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste throughout the community.
• Wash, dry, fold, and return resident laundry.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
• Interact with residents in a friendly, respectful manner.
