Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will assist with routine cleaning, sanitation, and resident area upkeep in Lewiston, Maine, delivering courteous service to residents and staff.

The role emphasizes adherence to infection control policies, safety guidelines, and teamwork. Training is provided; residency in the service area is preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and infection control guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of all areas following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
