Job summary

Brigham House is seeking a Maintenance/Housekeeping staff member to keep apartments and common areas clean and safe for residents and staff. You will perform cleaning, laundry, and related duties across interiors and exteriors, responding to residents' needs and maintaining compliance with safety standards.

The role requires reliable attendance, ability to read basic English, operate cleaning equipment, and pass background checks and medical clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform housekeeping duties including cleaning resident apartments and common areas.
• Must pass Criminal Background check for unlicensed employees.
• Must provide medical certification confirming no communicable diseases at hire and annually.

Responsibilities

• Cleans public areas and resident apartments, bathrooms, kitchens, patios, windows, floors and furniture.
• Washes windows at reasonable heights throughout the community.
• Maintains cleanliness of utility and storage rooms.
• Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies.
• Stocks cleaning cart with supplies and disposes trash.
• Completes maintenance work orders and reports issues promptly.
• Performs all laundry duties for residents and maintains laundry areas.
