Job summary

Indiana University Health is hiring a Hospital Environmental Services Technician at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. You will clean and sanitize patient rooms, clinics, and public areas to support a safe, welcoming environment.

Flexible open shifts include days, evenings, and nights; eligibility for benefits applies once regularly scheduled 24 hrs/wk or more. We seek compassionate team players with the ability to wear PPE and lift up to 80 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience preferred.
• No previous experience required for entry-level role.
• Must be able to wear protective equipment as required.
• Physical ability to perform tasks for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, offices, clinics, and common areas.
• Follow infection control standards and hospital policies.
• Handle hazardous waste removal when needed.
• Communicate with clinical teams to support safety and care flow.
