Job summary

Affinity Hospice Care Inc. is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide to provide compassionate, in-home support under a Registered Nurse. You will assist with daily personal care, mobility, meals, and safety, helping patients maintain dignity and comfort at home.

This per diem role offers flexible scheduling and per-visit compensation of $35–$45, with opportunities to convert to full-time based on performance. You will join a family-oriented team dedicated to high-quality hospice care.

Qualifications

Must hold a California Certified Home Health Aide certificate.
CPR certification (AHA) current.
Valid driver's license with insured vehicle.
Age 18 or older.
Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care accurately.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Genuine empathy and patience for patients.
Professional and attentive to personal hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing and skin care.
Assist with mobility and ROM per the care plan.
Support meals and feeding assistance.
Take and record vital signs as directed.
Help patients with medication self-administration.
Keep the living space clean, safe and orderly.
Observe patients and report changes to supervising nurse.
Document care per organizational standards.
Perform other duties as required for patient services.
