OhioHealth is seeking a Food Service Worker I to join the Nutrition Services team. The role supports the set-up, service, and cleanup of food service activities, following standardized recipes and safety procedures to ensure quality and compliance.

Day shift personnel work in a fast-paced health system environment, performing sanitation, stock rotation, food preparation, and courteous customer service while maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifikationen

• No Degree or Diploma (Required)
• Must be able to read, write, understand verbal/written instructions and perform basic math calculations
• Proper use of equipment such as dish machines, 3 bin sinks, knives and mixers

Aufgaben

• 40% Cleans and sanitizes trays, dishes, area equipment, walls, exhaust hoods, floors, fans, cabinets, freezers, refrigerators, etc.
• 25% Receives, verifies against order and properly stores food and supplies; rotates stock and notifies Purchasing Manager about shortages and damages.
• 20% Sets-up workstation, stock areas and serves customers; prepares and portions hot and cold items according to production sheets.
• 10% Takes and records temperatures and food safety standards on a scheduled basis.
• 5% Communicates with cooks, supervisors, and other staff; other duties as assigned.
