Responsibilities

• Receive and review requests for daily trips from Nursing.
• Transport residents and personnel to hospitals, doctor’s offices, and other destinations in a safe, caring manner.
• Ensure residents use seat belts and wheelchairs are properly strapped.
• Assist residents with walkers or wheelchairs and help with doors and stairs as needed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance tasks (gas, oil, fluids).
• Report vehicle issues or needed service to the Director or designee.
