Job summary

Covenant Living and CovenantCare at Home are seeking a Dining Services Server to assist with meal service, prep and hospitality for residents, guests and staff in a supportive senior living environment.

Responsibilities include setting up dining areas, serving meals, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting special events. A high school diploma and a current Food Handler’s Permit are required, with ServSafe beneficial and prior food service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Required High school diploma.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit is required.
• ServSafe training beneficial.
• Desired is 1 year of food service experience including serving/waiting tables and kitchen sanitation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, hospitality duties, and meal service.
• Serve breakfast, lunch and dinner to residents, guests, and staff.
• Bus and reset tables as needed.
• Prepare salad bar items for lunch.
• Fill salad bar with ice and set for service.
• Prepare and stage desserts.
• Light food prep for special events.
• Assist in setting up meetings or other events.
