Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Indiana is hiring a Dietary Aide to create an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests. You will take food and drink orders, seat and assist residents, deliver meals, and remove dinnerware promptly.

General cleaning, dishes, and basic food prep may also be included. The ideal candidate will have sanitation certification (or obtain within 30 days), restaurant serving experience, and a caring, team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Sanitation certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with serving in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Ability to recognize residents’ needs and respond with urgency and compassion.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Must have a solid work ethic, positive attitude, and be a good team player.
• Able and willing to work weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Take food and drink orders, seat and assist residents when needed.
• Deliver meals and remove dinnerware from the table in a timely manner.
• May also assist with general cleaning, dishes, and food preparation.
