Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal service for residents and guests in our Ohio location. You will prepare and plate meals, ensure proper portioning, and maintain sanitation standards in a bustling kitchen environment.

The role emphasizes independent work, clear communication with the supervisor, and collaboration with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and consistent quality across daily menus and special diets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) or technical school.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage meal service for 20 residents.
• Some food service work experience required.
• Great communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Handle, transport and plate food for residents, guests and employees.
• Plate food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensures that sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.
• Communicates with supervisor of shortages or outages.
• Ensures freshness, cooking status and proper temperature of all food being served.
• Maintain all daily logs, postings and documentations required for meal services
