Job summary

Arden Courts in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist the Culinary Services team with meal prep, service, and kitchen cleanliness. You will support the Nutrition team while maintaining professional interactions with residents and staff.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, basic reading/writing, and English; prior food service and dementia experience are a plus. A Food Service Sanitation certificate is required, with penalties for non-compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading and writing skills; ability to speak English clearly.
• Previous food service experience preferred; experience with elderly/dementia is a plus.
• Food Service Sanitation certificate required per state/local requirements.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Background screening through Florida Clearinghouse required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Culinary Services Coordinator and Cook in maintaining a clean kitchen and preparing meals.
• Deliver meals to residents.
• Provide professional, courteous service to residents and staff.
