Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food prep, dish out meals per dietary needs, and maintain clean, safe kitchen and dining areas.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to lift 30 lb, and maintain a positive, team-focused attitude. Current ServSafe/food handler certification as required by state law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
