Hillcrest Health & Rehabilitation Center in Corbin, KY is hiring for full-time, part-time and PRN Dietary Aides to join our team. Prior experience is preferred, and you will work with the dietary staff to serve meals and maintain sanitation.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must maintain sanitation and safety in food service areas.

Responsibilities

• Works with cook and Dietary Manager to implement changes as required.
• Assures that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Develop and maintain a good work rapport with inter-department personnel and other departments to ensure proper food service.
• Serves meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Assist in serving meals as necessary and in a timely basis.
• Serves food in accordance with established portion control.
• Report all accidents/incidents as established practices.
• Reviews menus prior to preparation of food.
• Assist in establishing food services production line to assure meals are prepared on time.
• Ensures inventory is maintained/stocked at all times.
• Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and the appearance of work areas; perform regular sanitation inspections.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors and the general public.
