Job summary

Stauntonrehab is seeking a Dietary Aide to help prepare and serve meals for residents, while upholding high sanitation standards and safety guidelines. You will set up dining areas, assist cooks, deliver meals, and perform post-meal cleanup in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dietary aide in food service.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to prepare meals following instructions.
• Friendly, with strong communication.
• Physical stamina for a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; food service certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision, following safety standards.
• Deliver dishes and trays to designated rooms on time.
• Assist in post-meal cleanup and collect dishes.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing leftovers and taking out garbage.
• Keep food stations clean and wash dishes and equipment.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and maintain inventory.
• Contribute to the upkeep of kitchen equipment.
