Job summary

Lourdes Medical Center is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our culinary team. You will assist patients with menu selection and deliver meals promptly, providing excellent service.

Responsibilities include ensuring meals match orders and diets, delivering patient menus, preparing items, and supporting the dietary team to keep service smooth. Shifts available: day, evening, and night.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, healthcare).

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service to all patients.
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner.
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management to help the department operate efficiently.
