Job summary

Right at Home Fremont is hiring compassionate caregivers in the Fremont, Union City, Newark, and Hayward areas. Earn $19–$20/hour with flexible 4–10 hour day shifts, weekly pay, and benefits including paid sick leave and uniform provided.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 months caregiving experience, a valid HCA license in California, and the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. TB screening and background checks are required, with mileage reimbursement and training

• Active HCA License with valid PER ID with State of California
• Genuine compassion for older adults
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Must pass background check and TB screening
• Reliable transportation is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting)
• Support mobility and transfers
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help with meal prep and light housekeeping
• Remind clients to take medications
• Drive or accompany clients to appointments or errands
• Monitor and report changes in client conditions
• Follow personalized care plans and communicate with team as needed
