Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to identify sales opportunities, manage pipelines, and close new business.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding, ocean shipping, logistics, or related transportation services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with current customers through regular follow-up and clear communication.
• Learn customer needs and ensure the service meets those needs.
• Find new customers, qualify leads, and convert opportunities into new business.
• Follow a clear sales process to reach revenue and growth goals.
• Review market trends and feedback to uncover new opportunities.
• Discuss pricing and service terms to reach fair agreements.
• Explain value of shipping services and use materials to support sales efforts.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure timely fulfillment and smoother service.
• Track sales activity, revenue, quotes, and forecasts and report to management.
• Assist with bookings, quotes, and service contracts and follow up post-sale.
