World University Service of Canada (WUSC) seeks a Country Coordinator (Part Time) based in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to support the Caribbean Field Support Services Project. You will track Canadian engagement and report on the country context under the FSSP Caribbean Project Manager.

Key tasks include monthly reports, data gathering on trends, partner outreach, and support for missions in the region. Strong English, 5+ years in development, and stakeholder coordination are essential.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in development studies, international relations, public policy, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in development programming.
Experience working with government, NGOs, donors, civil society and private sector.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Excellent written and spoken English; ability to work with diverse partners.

Responsabilités

Provide monthly and ad hoc summary reports of ongoing development activities locally.
Acquire and maintain country-specific data on trends and initiatives.
Identify suitable partner and client organizations in-country.
Liaise with stakeholders and follow up on programming with GAC’s Action Areas.
Develop networks with government, civil society, donors, and private sector.
Support project monitoring and related events.
Provide analyses on political and economic developments affecting development agendas.
Attend meetings or events to promote GAC programs when requested.
Provide logistical, procurement, financial management and admin support to visiting missions.
Deliver any other related services as required.
