Job summary

Empire National Inc. is seeking owner-operators with their own cargo van or small straight truck to haul loads interstate. The role offers flexible rates negotiated per load, no forced dispatch, and the ability to build a personal schedule across local, regional, or OTR assignments.

Weekly pay via ACH is provided, with strong support from a fully staffed office and a customer-centric approach. Must meet vehicle and licensing requirements and maintain approved insurance coverage.

Qualifications

• Must own a Cargo/Sprinter Van or Small Straight Truck under 10,000 lbs gross weight.
• Inside dimensions minimum: 120x50x50 inches.
• Vehicle 2015 or newer, good condition, no stickers.
• Commercial insurance: $1,000,000 Auto Liability, $100,000 Motor Cargo ($1,000 deductible).
• Passport and Green Card (Canada availability required).
• We are not accepting operators with active USDOT or authorized MC numbers.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate loads and rates with customers.
• Build your own schedule and select local, regional, or OTR loads.
• Operate as owner-operator with flexible, transparent pay.
• Manage weekly load payments and fulfill client commitments.
