Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Cargo Technician to stage outgoing equipment orders and support dispatch. You will work with a dynamic team to move gear efficiently and safely.

This role offers on-site training, competitive benefits, and opportunities to develop hands-on skills in yard operations, equipment staging, loading, and customer service. Physical tasks include lifting up to 60 pounds and working outdoors as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to demonstrate adequate time management and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work unusual and sometimes long hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds, bend stoop, squat, reach, crouch and kneel. The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.

Responsibilities

• Stage outgoing equipment orders truck load as directed by dispatch.
• Assist drivers with unloading and loading of equipment.
• Assist drivers with equipment refueling.
• Ensure returned equipment area is organized.
• Assist in staging customer pick ups.
• Assist customers load and unload equipment.
• Properly fill out customer return tickets.
• Help maintain a neat and organized yard space in general.
• Various other tasks as may be directed by the PCM

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Cargo Technician. As a Cargo Technician, you will stage outgoing equipment orders truck load as directed by dispatch.

Base Pay Range: $17.75 - 21.57

Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.

You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Sunbelt offers team members the following paid time off from work, subject to Sunbelt’s policies (unless specified in a collective bargaining agreement):
