Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Cargo Technician to stage outgoing equipment orders, assist drivers, and keep yards organized; you will work with a supportive team in a fast-growing rental business.

Candidates must be able to lift up to 60 pounds, tolerate long hours, and manage time effectively; the role offers a base pay range of $17.75–$21.57 per hour plus comprehensive benefits and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Stage outgoing equipment orders truck load as directed by dispatch.
• Assist drivers with unloading and loading of equipment.
• Assist drivers with equipment refueling.
• Ensure returned equipment area is organized.
• Assist in staging customer pick ups.
• Assist customers load and unload equipment.
• Properly fill out customer return tickets.
• Help maintain a neat and organized yard space in general.
• Various other tasks as may be directed by the PCM.

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Cargo Technician. As a Cargo Technician, you will stage outgoing equipment orders truck load as directed by dispatch.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Stage outgoing equipment orders truck load as directed by dispatch
• Assist drivers with unloading and loading of equipment
• Assist drivers with equipment refueling
• Ensure returned equipment area is organized
• Assist in staging customer pick ups
• Assist customers load and unload equipment
• Properly fill out customer return tickets
• Help maintain a neat and organized yard space in general
• Various other tasks as may be directed by the PCM

QUALIFICATIONS

Base Pay Range: $17.75 - 21.57

Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
