Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass all prerequisites to obtain SIDA badge.
  • Must pass a criminal background check as well as a drug screen before employment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily debriefing with team members to ensure productivity and compliance.
  • Promote an environment of mutual respect and trust between team members.
  • Establish relationships with internal and external customers to foster integrity and dignity.
  • Ensure safe and efficient operations through daily and weekly audits.
  • Direct opening/closing procedures and manage schedules to cover all work areas.
  • Communicate with upper management regarding operations and personnel.
  • Complete Daily Tour Reports on attendance, productivity, and operations.
  • Handle delivery/pick-up cargo pouches and documents to/from aircraft and USCIS/US Customs.

The Cargo Lead is responsible for leading the team to perform their work in a safe, efficient manner and in compliance with TSA, MDAD & CBP regulations and coach team members in skill development, exceeding customer experience and company culture behaviors, policies, and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct daily debriefing with team members to ensure productivity and compliance.
  • Promote an environment of mutual respect and trust between team members.
  • Establish and promote effective relationships with an external and internal customer base that fosters integrity, respect, and dignity.
  • Access operational environment and conditions to ensure it’s well-maintained through daily, and weekly audits.
  • Direct opening and closing procedures, manage schedules to ensure adequate coverage of all work areas and delegate tasks to employees.
  • Communicate with upper management regarding operations and personnel.
  • Complete and submit Daily Tour Reports on employee attendance, productivity, and daily operations.
  • Delivery/pick-up cargo pouches to and from aircraft promptly.
  • Delivers documents to USCIS and US Customs promptly.
  • Log the arrival of international cargo through US Customs.
  • Collects and maintains signatures for receipt of cargo document pouches.
  • Ram side inventory for out-of-service units and serviceable.
  • Report to management any missing freight paperwork or any discrepancies.
  • Track all cargo manifests for cargo transfers.
  • Transport document pouches to and from the aircraft parking area to cargo.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
EDUCATION, LICENSE, and/or CERTIFICATION
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have a valid Driver License
  • Must have a valid form of transportation.
EXPERIENCE And/or KNOWLEDGE
  • Must have security experience or demonstrated relevant skills
SKILL And/or ABILITIES
  • Ability to speak and understand English professionally
  • Must be able to pass all pre-requisites to obtain SIDA badge
  • Must pass a criminal background check as well as a drug screen before employment
  • Ability to work in a teamwork environment and delegate tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Must be professional appearance and adhere to company grooming/uniform policy
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends, and be able to report to work on a regular and timely basis
  • Requires flexibility to work additional hours beyond the regular shift, on short notice, and as needed during irregular operations.
