Accelera Staffing is seeking a dedicated Cargo Operations Supervisor for our Kearny, NJ facility. You will direct daily cargo and warehousing tasks, ensuring shipments are processed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with TSA and CBP regulations.

The role requires leading cargo teams, coordinating with security and GHA partners, and maintaining high standards of operational excellence and safety. Schedule: 5 days weekly, starting at 7:00 AM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in logistics, airline handling, or cargo operations; leadership preferred.
• Strong knowledge of air cargo handling, security, and dangerous goods.

Responsabilités

• Manage flight operations by coordinating with security and GHA teams to ensure efficient loading and uplift processes that prioritize commercial requirements.
• Improve daily workflows by proactively spotting operational challenges and suggesting effective solutions to uphold company goals.
• Oversee the inventory and reporting of ULD stock.
• Verify the accuracy of invoices submitted by the GHA.
• Ensure all activities comply with CBP and TSA guidelines.
• Represent the company in CBP and TSA interactions to address inquiries or potential penalties.
• Supervise all import-related functions performed by the GHA to identify and address irregularities.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of professional background in logistics, airline handling, or cargo operations, with a preference for those with prior leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of air cargo handling techniques, security requirements, and the management of dangerous goods.
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Cargo Management software platforms.
• Deep familiarity with FAA and TSA regulations concerning passenger and cargo flights, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in ULD management.
