Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Houston, TX seeks a cargo agent administrator to review manifests, bills of lading and air waybills and coordinate release procedures for shipments.

• Examines manifest, bills of lading and air waybill to determine procedures for releasing cargo.
• Notifies consignee or representative concerning arrival dates of shipment, customs clearance requirements and tonnage shipment.
• Makes cash transactions, collects payments from customers for freight prior to release.
• Prepares invoices for charges, airlines clients and management regarding freight.
• Ensure all local airport, TSA, CBP and FAA rules are followed.
