Job summary

Hub Group in Visalia, CA seeks a Cargo Handler to load/unload freight, stage next-day routes, and ensure accurate labeling and documentation. You will operate handheld scanners to track freight across our network and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.

The role requires lifting and moving freight safely, working with minimal supervision, and performing additional duties as assigned. Monday–Friday shifts with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience loading/unloading freight with basic equipment.
• Ability to operate with minimal supervision while maintaining safety.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers.
• Safely use equipment to move freight and prevent damage.
• Scan and track freight using handheld devices.
• Stage and audit next-day routes accurately.
• Label boxes and prepare freight for shipment.
• Verify documentation and condition of freight.
• Check-in and unload freight),
• Recoup or restore damaged freight when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow duties as assigned.
