Job summary

Qualifications

• Able to speak/read/write English proficiently; able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Willingness to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Able to obtain airport and customs badges/seals.

Responsibilities

• Read airway bills, freight manifests to determine items to move.
• Convey freight from receiving to storage or designated areas with forklift or transporter.
• Sort and store materials by destination or consignee.
• Handle and store dangerous goods correctly.
• Fill requisitions and distribute items to locations.
• Open crates; record counts and weigh items for distribution.
• Perform cargo build‑ups and breakdowns as needed.
• Maintain clean, hazard‑free work areas and follow safety rules.
• Follow security procedures and other duties as assigned.

What you will be doing

• Reads Airway bills, bills of landing, or freight manifest to determine the items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
• Conveysfreightfromreceivingareastostorageortootherdesignatedareaswithforkliftortransporter.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as consignee or destination.
• Sortsandstoresall dangerousgoodsinproperarea
• Fillrequisitions,workordersorrequestsformaterials, toolsorotherstockitemsand distributeitemsto other locations.
• Openbales,crates,andothercontainersforbreakdown.Recordscountofitemsreceivedordistributed. Weighs and countsitemsfordistribution within the warehousetoensure conformancetocompanystandards and air waybill.
• Performscargobuild-upand/orbreakdowns,freighttoand/orfromskid,palletsorULDs.
• Ensuresthatworkareasarecleanandhazardfreeofloosenets,straps,etc. ·
• MustpracticeallCompany'sSafetyPolicyinclusiveof, butnotlimitedtowearingPPE,equipmentoperation, safe lifting proceduresorobeying speed limitswhen driving companyvehiclesand equipment.
• MustfollowallSecurityproceduresasrequired.

• Must be at least 18 years of age. Must pass Drug testing.
• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• Must have a current driver license with no violations over the past 5 years.
• Forklift certificate preferred, but not necessary.
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English proficiently.
• Must be able tolift upto 70 lbs.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays. Previous customer service experience preferred
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing including drug testing
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airport and Custom badges/seals.
