Job summary

United States Army Reserve is seeking individuals to enlist as Soldiers and serve as Cargo Specialists (88H). You will be responsible for handling cargo for Army moves worldwide, learning cargo documentation, securing loads, and operating equipment like cranes and forklifts.

No experience is required as the position is entry level. Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and 8 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, plus the potential for bonuses and extensive benefits through military

Requirements

Enlist as a Soldier into the United States Army and become a Cargo Specialist (88H), you'll be the cargo handling expert for everything the Army moves by land, sea, or air. You’ll ensure the Army receives supplies, weapons, the mail, and equipment on a daily basis all over the world. You will be trained in cargo documentation, the securing of cargo, and learn how to load and unload cargo manually or by operating material handling equipment like cranes and forklifts. No experience necessary. Position is entry level.

Testing & Certifications
  • 40 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available;
  • 10 weeks of Basic Training;
  • 8 weeks of Advanced Individual Training;
  • 88 ASVAB Score: General Maintenance (GM).
