Job summary

Seaton Ocean Grove is seeking a Care Giver to join our team in Ocean Grove, NJ. The role provides hands-on care and emotional support to residents in a safe, home-like environment. You will participate in daily living activities and help maintain a clean, healthy community.

The ideal candidate has a NJ-approved CNA or HHA, a High School diploma or GED, and is at least 18 years old. Previous senior-care experience and strong customer service are a plus.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification as required by NJ.
• High School diploma or GED.

Our community is looking for a Care Giver to join our team.

The Care Giver's role includes providing hands on care and physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home like environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities

Qualifications:

• CNA or HHA (NJ requires a Certified Nurse Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid)
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
