Job summary

Griswold Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors in their own homes across the Western Massachusetts region, including Ludlow. You will help with daily living activities, meals, light housekeeping, and provide companionship to clients in need.

No CNA required; sign-on and referral bonuses, paid time off, and a 401k match are available. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required to serve clients throughout the area.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for elderly or disabled individuals.
• Valid driver s license and reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the United States; certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean home.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Support mobility and transfers, and remind about medications.
• Transport to appointments as needed and document care provided.

Caregiver Requirements

• Experience caring for elderly and/or disabled individuals
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required
• Authorized to work in the US
• Compassionate provider of personal care, homemaking, and companion services
• Certification preferred, but not required
• Experience with Alzheimer's, Dementia, and Hospice care preferred but not required
• Criminal Background Record Check
• A minimum of 4 references (2 personal and 2 professional)
• Recent TB test completed within the past year
• Working every other weekend is a requirement
