Job summary

Griswold Home Care seeks compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care to seniors in Western Massachusetts. Urgent weekend shifts are available, with opportunities for full-time, part-time, and per-diem roles.

A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required, and the team offers a supportive environment with pay incentives and 401(k) matching. We value caregivers with experience in personal care, companionship, and homemaking.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for elderly and/or disabled individuals
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Authorized to work in the US
• Criminal Background Check
• Minimum of 4 references (2 personal and 2 professional)
• Recent TB test completed within the past year
• Working every other weekend is a requirement
• Certifications are preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking as needed
• Launder clothing and linens to maintain a clean living environment
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times
• Assist with medication reminders

Caregiver Requirements
