Job summary

Gentle Hands Home Care Llc is seeking a part-time HCA/CNA – Manager Assistant to provide direct caregiving and to support the Resident Manager in the daily AFH operations serving up to 6 residents.

The role requires strong caregiving experience, organizational and leadership abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining resident safety and quality of care. Weekend availability and on-call flexibility are important.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience in AFH, assisted living, long-term care, or similar setting.
• Ability to manage multiple caregiving and household responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; able to guide other caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care and assist with residents' ADLs.
• Support Resident Manager with coordinating daily household and resident-care tasks.
• Assist with medication management, documentation, and provider communications as directed.
• Oversee caregiver assignments and ensure tasks are completed each shift.
• Maintain accurate resident records and required logs; report incidents as needed.
