Job summary

A home care service provider is looking for HHA/ CNA to work 12-hour shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in Cooper City, FL. Responsibilities include providing custodial and personal care services, companionship, cooking, light housekeeping, and transportation help. The ideal candidate should have completed home health aide training or be a certified nursing assistant with at least one year of experience. This is a non-exempt, hourly position; flexible schedules are available, and mileage reimbursement and referral bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Individual must have successfully completed formal home health aide training or certification as a Nursing Assistant.
• One (1) year experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred.
• CPR Certification Card, TB Test, CEUs, Level 2 live-scan criminal background check and experience with Electric Hoyer Lift.

Future Opening: HHA/ CNA - 12 Hours Shift (Fri, Sat and Sun) -

Description:This position provides custodial and personal care services to clients that contract with Assisting Hands for services under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and in compliance with the Plan of Care designated by the RN.

Education:Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant

Qualifications: Individual must have successfully completed and provide evidence of formal home health aide training orcertification as a Nursing Assistant per state law and regulation. One (1) year experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred.

Requirements:CPR Certification Card, TB Test, CEU's, Level 2 live-scan criminal background check and Experience with Electric Hoyer Lift

Reports to:Director of Nursing

Duties Include:Companionship, cooking, light housekeeping, and assistance with transportation, errands, and personal care.

Hours: Dependent on assignment. Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.

FLSA Status:Non-exempt, hourly
