Job summary

Right at Home South Central Michigan is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care to adults in Jackson, MI. You will assist with daily living activities, accompany clients to appointments, prepare meals, and offer companionship in a respectful, empowering way.

We offer paid training, flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and opportunities to grow with a supportive team and leadership access. CNA/HHA/PCA certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care activities that assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with transferring/moving clients from place to place throughout their home.
• Perform housekeeping activities, such as vacuuming, dusting, and doing laundry.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments.
• Provide companionship activities, such as reading, music, and puzzles.
