Job summary

Guardian Angel Senior Services in Massachusetts is hiring dependable, compassionate Caregivers to provide in-home care and companionship to seniors in Barre and surrounding communities.

You will assist with ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and safety, following individualized care plans. We offer full-time hours, flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and benefits for employees working 30+ hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable, compassionate and able to provide non-medical support in clients' homes.
• Willingness to travel between nearby towns.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently following individualized care plans.
• Experience in caregiving is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring dependable, compassionate Caregivers to provide meaningful in-home care and companionship to seniors in Petersham, Hardwick, Barre, New Braintree, Oakham, Holden, Rutland, and surrounding rural communities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Full-time hours and consistent work are available, particularly for caregivers able to serve rural areas.

What You'll Do

As a Caregiver, you will provide non-medical support tailored to each client's needs, including:

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Prepare meals and support healthy nutrition
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and home organization
• Run errands, grocery shop, and assist with transportation
• Maintain a safe, clean, comfortable home environment
• Work independently while following each client's individualized care plan

What We're Looking For

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between nearby towns
• Valid driver's license
• Dependable, patient, compassionate attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in clients' homes
• Previous caregiving experience is preferred, but not required - we welcome caring individuals who are ready to make a difference
