Job summary

Assisted Home Health & Hospice in Santa Barbara is seeking compassionate caregivers for flexible shifts. Eligible candidates will engage in personal care tasks, nutrition support, and mobility activities tailored to each client’s PCA assignment.

We offer paid orientation and trainings, weekly pay, and flexible full- or part-time schedules with sick time accruals and education reimbursement. Prior CPR certification is required or willing to obtain it, with health clearance and skills assessment.

Qualifications

• Current CPR (or willing to get one), health clearance and completed skills assessment.
• Must have visual and hearing acuity. Must be able to communicate clearly verbally. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

• Assist client with personal hygiene, elimination, nutritional support, ambulation and exercise and other related supportive tasks according to the client’s needs and as specified on the PCA Assignment.
• Ensure quality and safe delivery of personal care attendant services per written assignment.
