Job summary

Senior Helpers of Santa Barbara is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate home care services to seniors in Santa Barbara County. The role involves personal care, companionship, and support with daily activities, with mileage reimbursement for errands using your own vehicle.

We encourage applicants of all experience levels and offer flexible scheduling, dedicated training, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Open to all experience levels in caregiving or related fields.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance may be required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with seniors and families.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain open communication with seniors, their families, and our staff.
• Assist with personal care.
• Companionship.
• Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned.
• Running errands - requires use of personal vehicle (with mileage reimbursement) and active Drivers License and Auto Insurance.

We are looking for caregivers who are available Monday through Thursday 9:30am-7:30pm, okay with animals!
